Find one of the hidden gems in Redwood City! Bair Island Aquatic Center is offering learn to paddle classes. Starting in a 6 man Outrigger Canoe, students will learn how to paddle and water safety.  As the class continues, students will advance to 3 man canoes, 2 man and then to single person canoes.  Paddlesports are some of the fastest growing sports worldwide. We also offer students a chance to try out Surfski, Olympic Flatwater Kayaking, and Stand Up Paddling. These classes offer a great chance to be on the water and explore a great natural resource right here in Redwood City.

Students should wear shorts/board shorts, t-shirt, water shoes or flip flop slippers and a lightweight wind jacket. Swimming experience is suggested, or a PFD must be worn at all times.
